Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of Glowmoji: AI Character Maker (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and Apple's applicable App Store terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use the App. If you are under the age of legal majority, a parent or guardian must review and accept these Terms for you. Do not use the App if you do not agree to these Terms.
What the App does
The App uses artificial intelligence to create emojis, stickers, characters, and related images from text prompts, selected styles, and other choices you submit. Results are generated automatically and may vary even when the same prompt and style are used.
The App offers two creation paths. You can generate a one-off emoji or sticker from a single prompt, or you can create a character: an original figure that you name, style, and save as a reusable identity. A saved character can be generated again in new moods and scenes, and the App is designed to preserve its recognizable traits across those generations. Because generation is probabilistic, we do not guarantee that a character is reproduced identically in any given result.
The App does not accept photo or reference-image uploads. Characters are created from text descriptions and style choices only.
Anonymous profile
Glowmoji automatically creates an anonymous profile so the App can provide generation allowances, a private cloud Library, subscriptions, notifications, and data deletion. You do not need to provide a name, email address, phone number, password, or social sign-in. You are responsible for access to the device on which the App and its anonymous credential are stored.
License
The App is licensed, not sold. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store usage rules and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, interfere with, automate abusive access to, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, except where applicable law does not allow that restriction.
Your prompts
You retain any rights you have in text prompts and other choices you submit ("Inputs"). You grant us and our service providers a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, transmit, modify, and process Inputs only as needed to operate the App, create requested results, maintain safety and security, provide support, and comply with law.
You represent that you own or have the rights and permissions needed for every Input. Do not submit confidential information or content that violates another person's privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights.
Your characters
A character consists of the name, description, style choice, and generated images you save as a reusable identity. Characters are stored in your private Library under your anonymous profile and are not published, shared with other users, or shown in any public feed unless you choose to export or share a result yourself.
The representations and warranties in “Your prompts” apply to character descriptions as well. Do not create a character that impersonates a real person, uses someone's likeness without required consent, or reproduces a third party's protected character or branding.
The number of characters you can keep depends on your plan and may change as described in “Availability, changes, and termination”. If a subscription lapses, previously saved characters remain in the App, but creating new moments and keeping additional characters require an active subscription.
Deleting a character also deletes its associated pack. Deleting your Glowmoji data through Settings → Delete my data removes your saved characters. Results you already exported to Photos or another app must be deleted from those destinations separately.
Generated content
Subject to applicable law, third-party rights, and any restrictions that apply to the underlying service, you may use and share generated results for personal or commercial purposes. We do not guarantee that a result is unique, eligible for intellectual-property protection, accurate, or free from third-party claims. Similar or identical results may be generated for other users. You are responsible for reviewing a result and determining whether your intended use is lawful and appropriate.
Prohibited use
You may not use the App to create, request, or distribute content that:
- is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, harassing, hateful, or defamatory;
- sexually exploits or endangers a child or appears to depict child sexual abuse;
- violates privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or other rights;
- impersonates a person deceptively or uses someone's likeness without required consent;
- contains malware, attempts to bypass safeguards, or disrupts the App or its providers; or
- is used for spam, scams, unauthorized surveillance, or other harmful activity.
We may block requests, remove access to content, limit usage, or suspend access for violations, safety concerns, legal requirements, or abuse prevention.
Free use, subscriptions, and payments
The App may provide a limited number of free generations and allows a free user to create a first character. Additional saved characters, unlimited generations, some styles, higher-resolution exports, watermark removal, and priority generation require Glowmoji Pro. Available plans, localized prices, billing periods, introductory offers, and included features are shown on the purchase screen before you confirm a purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account through the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. Manage or cancel a subscription in Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the App or your Glowmoji data does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules and applicable law.
Pro access may be subject to reasonable technical, rate, and anti-abuse limits designed to prevent automated or excessive use and protect service availability. These limits are not intended to restrict ordinary personal use. Generation credits used for a failed job are returned when the App confirms the failure.
Third-party services and exports
The App depends on third-party services for AI processing, cloud hosting and storage, subscriptions, App Store payments, push notifications, and content delivery. Those services may be unavailable, change, or apply their own terms and policies. See our Privacy Policy for the current provider list.
When you choose to export content to iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Photos, or another destination, your use of that destination is governed by its own terms. We do not guarantee that a third-party app is installed, available, or will accept a particular sticker or pack.
Glowmoji content and intellectual property
The App, its software, design, text, graphics, branding, curated sticker packs, and other non-user content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited App license and any sharing functionality we expressly provide, no rights in this content are transferred to you.
Feedback
If you voluntarily send suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.
Availability, changes, and termination
We may update, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features to improve the App, address safety or legal requirements, manage capacity, or reflect provider changes. Styles, packs, generation limits, and availability may change. Your license ends automatically if you materially violate these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
You can delete your anonymous Glowmoji profile and associated data through Settings → Delete my data. Data deletion and retention are described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App and generated content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates, officers, employees, licensors, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, use, or goodwill, arising from the App or generated content. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the App during the 12 months before the claim or USD $50, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Apple terms
Apple is not responsible for the App or its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on a U.S. Government prohibited or restricted-party list.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the App, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
